I talked to Daughter #3 (kindergartner) on her way home from school. I asked her how her day was and she said, "Fine, except Daddy........nevermind." Turns out Daddy forgot to put her tennies in her backpack and Monday is a gym day. Isn't it funny that she wants to protect her Daddy? I wonder how their little minds start to figure that kind of stuff out so early.
Last night on my shift I got to actually go inside of the boiler. I crawled through a little hole and went right on in. It is huge and it's really pretty amazing to think that that whole thing is filled with fire when it's up and running. I was leery about going in, but I doubt that I will ever have the opportunity again - so I did it.
Now it's sounding like I will be working through Saturday night. I'm so ready to go home, but I need the money so I will not complain. I think we may get out of here at 3:00 a.m. today instead of 7:00---yea, a few extra hours so maybe I can get a load of jeans washed at the motel!! Woo hoo!

hey!
it's your partner in crime here. glad you got things ironed out with your other half. i imagine he's sick of you being gone! isn't it funny how money talks and makes the world go round. our world out here is spinning out of control right now. what a way to spend Memorial Weekend! (working) glad you got out of here early last night. i've been re-wearing my clothes now too. not a good sign. with only haveing a kame-apart up here to shop at one doesn't have too much of a choice for shopping for any new cloths of any kind. undies and socks is about all i've gotton from there.
thank's again for your help out here buddy! it is fun to have someone who is easy to work with for a change. i haven't had a meltdown yet, yahoo! i think things are going well.
glad you had a channce to see the boiler. it's quite interesting out there. your dad will be impressed by what you have learned out here :)
hope you are in dream land right now, see ya tonight
